Buckingham Lake Park is home to Buckingham Pond, which is roughly 5 acres in size. The park is a City of Albany park but is also supported by the Buckingham Pond Conservancy – an all-volunteer organization that organizes cleanups, works with the city on improvements, and plans events. I visited on a beautiful early spring afternoon, when the park was coming to life after a long winter.
